Glentek electric motors

GM Series

The GM series utilizes traditional ferrite magnets. The higher inertia armatures provide improved motor to load inertia matching for medium to high inertia loads. This helps to reduce the mechanical shaft resonance which allows higher servo gains with increased stability. All frame sizes incorporate skewed armatures, which provide ultra smooth operation (i.e. low cogging torque). Typical applications include factory automation machinery, fitness equipment (i.e. treadmills), labeling machinery, machine tools, material handling machinery, medical equipment (i.e. CAT scanners and PET scanners), packaging machinery, printing machinery, robotics, x-y tables, textile machinery etc.

GMR Series

The GMR series utilizes high-energy Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) magnets, which provide more torque in a smaller package with higher dynamic performance than the GM series. Typical applications are the same as for the GM series.
