Moons' electric motors

Moons' is established in 1994 and produces permanent magnet and hybrid stepper motors plus their drivers. Typical product specifications (17 AH series) are a step angle of 0.9 degree and a step accuracy of +/- 5%.

They also create stepper motors with an integrated smart drive. The smartness: Software is used to calculate the lowest mechanical eigenfrequency of the system and adds damping for this resonance frequency which adds stability to the system. Also torque ripples are reduced by adding negative harmonics to the drive current signal. The motors with integrated drives (STM23) have a holding torque of 1 and 1.3 Nm.
